Dr Puneeta Maheshwari

Dr Puneeta graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2000 and has since built a wealth of experience in both private and public health dentistry. She is a proud member of the Australian Dental Association and has previously been affiliated with the Australian Society of Endodontics.

With a strong passion for orthodontics, Dr Puneeta has undertaken extensive postgraduate education in the field. She is a graduate of Progressive Orthodontics Seminars (USA) and holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Orthodontics (UK). As an Invisalign-certified provider, she actively treats patients using clear aligner therapy.

Throughout her career, Dr Puneeta has successfully served communities through her roles at Maryborough District Health Service and Hepburn Health Service. She is currently the principal dentist at Maryborough Dental Practice and MY Dentist Ballarat.

Dr Puneeta provides comprehensive general dental care, with particular interest in root canal treatment, crowns and bridges, orthodontics, dentures, and aesthetic dentistry. She is known for her clear communication, gentle approach, and unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Her focus extends beyond the clinical setting—she is equally passionate about supporting the emotional and physical well-being of her patients and the broader community.

Outside of dentistry, Dr Puneeta enjoys spending quality time with her family and cherishes watching her daughter grow.
